Our family-owned and operated equipment rental agency Tulsa Oklahoma got its start in the construction business in the 1970s, specializing in heavy infrastructure construction projects throughout the United States. After spending two decades traveling and on the road throughout the country building airports, interstates, and highways, Laine Rieger shifted his construction focus to the equipment needs of the construction industry by going to work selling construction equipment to the local Tulsa market. Using his 20-year career building some of the country’s largest projects, he took his direct experience of concrete paving, asphalt paving, and heavy infrastructure along with his knowledge of how to get the right equipment on the right job, and applied it directly to solution-based equipment sales.
For the next 30 years, Laine Rieger worked alongside some of the industry’s biggest contractors in Oklahoma by supplying Becco Contractors, Tulsa Asphalt, Sherwood Construction, Anchor Stone, Manhattan Construction, and Oklahoma Bridge Company with equipment solutions for their fleet. Laine Rieger sold some of the industry’s most productive heavy equipment by selling Volvo CE, Rammer Hydraulic hammers, Trex equipment, Cedar Rapids pavers, Bomag Compaction equipment, and Astec crushing products. He has grown with those companies and brands to the point where he was able to strike out on his own in 2012 and offer some of the industry’s best equipment products directly to his customers.
Our Beginnings
RedRock Equipment Rental combines decades of industry knowledge with a modern approach to equipment rentals
After having two careers, one building large construction projects throughout the United States, and the other supplying the construction industry with the right equipment, Laine founded what would become RedRock Equipment Rental in 2012 by starting an equipment rental agency Tulsa Oklahoma. He turned his equipment sales and brokerage business into a direct rent business that immediately filled a gap in the Oklahoma rental market by making it easier for customers and contractors to rent the right equipment for the right job. Over the years, Laine’s experience and knowledge have allowed him to help customers find the right equipment or attachment to keep their projects running smoothly and have helped him create long-standing relationships in the industry. Now more than 14 years later, RedRock has become a premier equipment rental agency Tulsa Oklahoma with the company spanning three generations of family and counting.
While growing up in a family in the construction industry, Britt Rieger followed in his family’s footsteps going from college to career in the Oklahoma energy sector working for a family-owned entity that had divisions in steel manufacturing, oil production, construction, and logistics. After spending over five years managing and scaling these divisions, he went directly into sales, eventually working alongside his father selling heavy construction equipment in Oklahoma.
While working in equipment sales, Britt built a territory in eastern Oklahoma selling construction equipment to customers throughout the region. He built relationships with his customers and worked to understand the needs and demands of the industries in the area. After 5 years of direct equipment sales, he pivoted to operations, becoming the Equipment Manager of Becco Contractors. During his time at Becco Contractors, Britt was able to learn and understand more about the different heavy equipment needs for a variety of different construction projects within a large company.
Britt managed a fleet of over 800 pieces of rolling stock, as well as rented equipment for different jobs or projects for the company based on long- and short-term needs. After several years with the company, Britt was able to maximize equipment utilization and decrease outside rentals by several million dollars a year. He was also able to cut overall maintenance and repair costs by several million dollars for his division, bringing the equipment usage costs below five percent, well under the industry standards.
Where We Are Today
In 2026, Britt transitioned to working full-time for RedRock Equipment Rental as the operations manager for our equipment rental agency Tulsa Oklahoma. Britt manages our fleet of over 100 units and directly manages all employees in the business.
